– The ultimate presentation unleashed by slow-speed casting –
The benefits this brings to fly fishing are tremendous.
It helps prevent line and leader troubles during casting, while also reducing the impact of the line on the water at landing.
At the same time, it adds elegance to fly casting, a technique often considered difficult.
This is exactly what the parabolic action fly rod “LEGACY-R” delivers.
Its 5-piece design with a one-and-a-half construction creates a smooth and beautiful bend curve, much like that of a one-piece rod, further refining its parabolic action.
In addition, by intentionally designing the final 15 cm of the tip as a “strong tip” that does not flex, it makes it possible to achieve a higher casting trajectory.
The butt section is both powerful and capable of bending deeply.
Because it loads fully in the early stage of the cast, the butt follows through even on mid- to long-range casts, allowing the line to unroll at a slower speed.

Parabolic Action
LEGACY-R is designed by carefully balancing where the rod flexes and where strength is retained, drawing out the beauty and repeatability of slow-speed casting.
The strong tip shapes the trajectory, while the butt section follows through to tighten the loop. The result is elegant, quiet, and accurate casting.
Rod Specs
Two core models in the series.
7’5″ / #3
The 753 is the foundational model of the LEGACY-R series.
It condenses the essence of parabolic action into a rod that offers an excellent balance of ease of use and castability.
Suitable for everything from medium-sized mountain streams to small countryside rivers, it is the most standard model in the series.
It is the rod that lets you experience the true character of LEGACY-R most directly.
LEGACY-L #3
6’6″ / #3/4
At 6’6″, this model may seem intended mainly for brushy streams and small creeks,
but in practice it delivers excellent performance even on typical mountain streams.
It has the casting ability to overturn the idea that short rods do not cast far,
and once you cast it, you will be surprised by its remarkable potential.
LEGACY-L #3 or #4
- Low-drag flies such as light patterns: #3
- High air-resistance flies such as heavily dressed patterns: #4
Also, while casting distance tends to be shorter in compact fields,
we also recommend a #4 line from the standpoint of giving the line enough mass
to deliver the fly accurately to the target.
