Specially tanned leather specially for fly fishing is used to achieve a softness not found in other similar products.

river peak’s leather flies are made of specially tanned leather specially designed for fly fishing, and we are particular about dyeing techniques.
Because of its softness, it often bites only by shaking during the fall, making it ideal for sight-fishing.
This fly is also ideal for sight-fishing.
The fly does not sink when dry, so please hand fry the fly in the water before beginning to use it.
Fish often suck in the entire fly, so we recommend using a tippet thicker than 4x to avoid breaking the teeth.
Cut the tippet to the desired length with scissors. (According to our experience, the length that catches the most fish is 3 to 3.5 cm.)
Recommended hook size is No. 12 for retrieving and No. 14 for loosening.
