Specification
Ultra-light ball marker that overcomes both “difficulty in casting” and “poor sensitivity” that are the drawbacks of marker fishing in mountain streams
How to overcome “difficulty in casting”?
The S size is 0.035g, which is almost the same weight as a typical elk hair caddis with a No. 14 hook.
The round shape also reduces air resistance, freeing the angler from the frustration of casting distance and accuracy.
In addition, because it can be placed in a straight line to the tippet, there is very little trouble such as line entanglement.
How do you overcome “poor sensitivity”?
Stick floats are used for fishing for fish such as Japanese spinning tops. The sensitivity of a stick float to a bite is remarkable.
However, it is difficult to use a stick float in fly fishing, especially in mountain streams.
With the exception of stick float, ball-type markers are the best for taking detailed bites in a straightforward and smooth manner.
Since there is no horizontal or vertical directionality, the bite when a fish bites the fly is transmitted smoothly to the ball from any angle.
There is less discomfort from the fish’s side and less possibility of the fish spitting out the fly immediately.
White color is used to minimize bites to the marker itself.
